Privacy, plainly.

From the contact form, only what you type into it: your name, email, and anything else you choose to tell us (business name, phone number, current website, your message). Beyond that, anonymous visitor statistics (see below). We don't use advertising tools or third-party cookies, and fonts are served from this site, so your visit isn't shared with third parties.

To reply to you and design the homepage mockup you asked for. Nothing else. We never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.

Your message is stored securely with our hosting and storage providers, and may pass through our email provider so we're notified. They only process it on our behalf.

As long as we're talking about your project. If we don't end up working together, we delete it when it's no longer needed.

To see which pages help and which don't, we count visits with our own simple statistics: the pages viewed, how long they were on screen and how far down they were scrolled, which of our main buttons and links were clicked, whether the contact form was started and sent, the site that linked here, and your country, type of device, screen size and browser.

Nothing you type is recorded. When you first visit, we ask whether we may set one cookie. If you allow it, it holds a random code so we can tell when you come back; it lasts a year and is only read by this site. If you say no, a second cookie remembers that answer, and your IP address is used only to tell visits apart for a single day, scrambled with a code that changes daily, and is never stored. To change your answer, clear this site's cookies and you'll be asked again. We keep these statistics for 12 months and never share or sell them. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, you aren't counted at all.

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time. Email contact@plainly.studio and we'll sort it out.
